Produce & Publish now supporting Apache FOP

Produce & Publish now provides limited support for the Apache FOP PDF converter.

Support is limited to the Produce & Publish Plone Client Connector.

You can not use the Produce & Publish Authoring Environment with Apache FOP (PrinceXML as PDF converter backend remains a mandatory requirement).

By supporting Apache FOP we can over a low-budget and entry-level solution to Produce & Publish. Apache FOP support basically allows you to generate PDF (in a half-way reasonable quality) from your Plone application. We do not consider Apache FOP being a replacement over PrinceXML since the capabilities of PrinceXML are superior over FOP.
