European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (OSHA)

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work uses the Produce & Publish server platform for producing high-quality PDF documents. OSHA manages their content within the Plone CMS and generates updated PDF documents automatically as part of their internal editorial process. We delivered the Produce & Publisher server using the PrinceXML converter and implemented the client-side integration with the Plone CMS. Our solution worked out-of-the-box perfectly with all 22 languages used within the European Union - including Greek and all east-european languages. In addition we implemented the templates and styles for the PDF generation based on the OSHA styleguide. We implemented this project on behalf of Syslab.

ZOPYX implemented the integration of the Produce & Publish services into the Plone CMS of our client EU-OSHA, as well as the template for PDF generation based on the client's style guide. The client is now able to produce well formatted PDF reports on the fly in all European languages, including Greek and Bulgarian (Cyrillic letters). Thanks to a smartly structured API, we were easily able to extend the software and build a customised solution on top of it to fit customer-specific requirements.

DEISA Distributed European Infrastructure for Supercomputing Applications

Distributed European Infrastructure for Supercomputing Applications (DEISA) has chosen the Produce & Publish platform for producing high-quality PDF documents for their online documentation. DEISA, the Distributed European Infrastructure for Supercomputing Applications, is a consortium of leading national Supercomputing centres that aims at fostering the pan-European world-leading computational science research. DEISA deploys and operates a persistent, production quality, distributed supercomputing environment with continental scope. It aims at delivering a turnkey operational solution for a future European HPC eco system. 

The Produce & Publish platform - especially the Authoring Environment delivered to DEISA - is a key component for editing and maintaining any kind of documentation through the Plone CMS. The Authoring Environment entitles DEISA to generate print-ready PDF documents directly from their web content. We added features like a clickable table-of-contents, PDF bookmarks for chapters and sections, alternating page numbering, numbering and captions for tables and images and many more. The single-source publishing approach also allows DEISA to provide both chapter-wise HTML output + chapter-wise PDF documents - (with optional support for cover pages).

Now that our customised "Produce and Publish Authoring Environment" from ZOPYX is in production and has already been used successfully to publish the current DEISA Primer and User Documentation, and now since we make heavy use of the related PDF converter which allows us to generate and publish high quality PDF versions of these documents....I want to underline that the DEISA project is very pleased with your product...

Immanuel Diakonie Group

Immanuel Diakonie Group used the Produce & Publish server for generating a printed brochure for their  Rüdersdorf hospital. The complete content of the brochure has been edited within the Plone CMS and generated on-the-fly based on the most current content. See news for details.

Veit Schiele Informationsdesign

Veit Schiele is the author of the German Plone Nutzerhandbuch and Plone Entwicklerbuch. The content of both online publications are being maintained within the Plone CMS. The Produce & Publisher server is used to generate up-to-date high-quality PDF versions.

ResMed GmbH & Co. KG uses the Produce & Publish server as a web-to-print platform for generating dynamic PDF documents for their seminars. This includes tables cards, certificates, various lists and other documents with data specific to a seminar and their participants. 

 

Stuttgart Media University (HdM)

The Stuttgart Media University uses our Produce & Publish server as a low-cost web-to-print solution for producing high-quality PDF versions of their online web journal of their Convergent Media Center (CMC). The basic functionality (integration with HdM CMS, content aggregation and content preparation, basic templating and styling) was implemented within a one-day workshop.

Albrecht-Ernst-Gymnasium, Öttingen in Bayern

The Albrecht-Ernst-Gynmasium uses the Produce & Publish for Plone solution for generating high-quality school reports. The secondary school makes all related content within the Plone CMS. By doing this, teachers can export the reports for a whole class in one run with a single mouse click.
